Along with the host Bulldogs and Dutchmen, high school football teams competing in Mokane will include Fulton’s Hornets, Hermann’s Bearcats, Russellville’s Indians and Montgomery County’s Wildcats.

South Callaway, Owensville and Fulton will face off on the south side of the stadium in Mokane while Hermann, Russellville and Montgomery County will have an all blue-and-white north side.

Kicking things off at 7 p.m., will be the Dutchmen and Bulldogs on the south side while Hermann and Russellville face off on the north side.

Session two at 7:45 p.m., will see the Dutchmen look to sting the Hornets while Montgomery County and Russellville continue the all blue-and-white north side.

Ending the jamboree at 8:30 p.m., will be South Callaway and Fulton on the south side along with a Highway 19 cat fight between Hermann and Montgomery County on the north side.

Admission for ages six to 61 will be $3 while children under five and senior citizens (62 and over) will be admitted free of charge.

Saturday morning, Koppelmann’s Dutchgirls will make the short trek into Phelps County for their softball jamboree at St. James’ Nelson Hart Park.

Joining the host Lady Tigers and Dutchgirls will be St. Clair’s Lady Bulldogs and Hermann’s Lady Bearcats.

St. James and St. Clair will kick the jamboree off at 9 a.m., followed at 10:05 a.m., by a Gasconade County showdown between Owensville and Hermann.

Capping the morning portion of the jamboree at 11:10 a.m., will be St. Clair and Owensville.

After a lunch break, the afternoon portion of jamboree softball will kick off at 12:35 p.m., with St. James taking on Hermann followed by a 1:40 p.m., match up between Hermann and St. Clair.

Closing out the jamboree at 2:45 p.m., will be the Dutchgirls and host Lady Tigers.

Each game will last three innings or one hour whichever comes first.

Rounding the list of jamborees involving OHS on Tuesday, Aug. 23 will be Ridenhour’s Dutchgirl volleyball team competing in action at Sullivan High School against the host Lady Eagles and Potosi Lady Trojans.
