James Daniel Witte, 53, Owensville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at Frene Valley in Owensville.
He was born April 22, 1967, to Wallace and Rosemarie (Gaede) Witte, in Washington.
James was preceded in death by parents, Wallace and Rosemarie; and great-nieces, Devlyn Sites and Mikayla Onder.
He is survived by brother, Bruce Witte and wife Sherry of Sullivan; nieces, Christina Onder and husband Brian and Sandy Marler and Chris Hurt, all of Owensville, and Heather Marler and Sarah Marler, both of Sullivan; nephew, Jeremy Witte of Sullivan; great-niece, Allysa Onder of Owensville; and great nephews, Lucas and Levi Onder of Owensville.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 23, from 8-11 a.m., with memorial services following with Rev. Jim Strube officiating, all at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville. Attendees are asked to observe covid restrictions and wear masks.
