Jerry Goodson Laughlin, 85, Ballwin, formerly of Owensville, was baptised into the hope of Christ’s resurrection, Friday, April 17, 2020.
He was born June 6, 1934, to H.H. and Ruth (Goodson) Laughlin, in Chicago, Ill.
He was the beloved husband of Janet B. (Beasley) Laughlin for 45 years beginning April 5, 1975.
Jerry served in the U.S. Air Force. He grew up in Shawnee Mission, Kan., and graduated from the University of Kansas.
He was the dear father of Cindy Marriott and husband Patrick and Dean Laughlin and wife Terri; dear grandfather of Patrick Bastunas and wife Heather, Matthew Bastunas, David Callahan and wife Bryanna, Gregory Callahan and wife Cori, Jonathan Laughlin and Lucy Laughlin; great-grandfather of nine; dear brother of Jean Turner; and dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
A private memorial mass was held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Missouri. Friends may sign the family’s online guestbook at Schrader.com.
