Dorcelene “Doris” Christine Drusch, 82, Bland passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at her residence.
She was born July 2, 1938, to Frank and Cecilia (Samson) Branson, in Linn.
She was united in marriage to Lee Roy Drusch, Aug. 17, 1957, at Linn.
Doris enjoyed listening to Elvis music. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and animals.
She was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Cecilia.
She is survived by husband, Lee Roy Drusch; children, Doris Beckman and husband David of Florissant and John Drusch of St. Peters; brother, Wilford Branson of Bonnots Mill; sisters, Mary Gove and husband Ralph of Freedom, Shirley Bonnot and husband Cap of Loose Creek, Fern Hake and husband Walter of Holts Summit and Bonnie Wagner and husband Rob of Westphalia. She was an enthusiastic grandma and great-grandma to four grandchildren, Christian Zwick, Kevin Zwick and wife Chelsea, Joel Zwick and wife Shanna and Taylor Drusch; and four great-grandchildren, Claire, Ada, Carl and Samuel Zwick.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 3, at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville with Pastor Glen Duncan officiating. Interment was in the Old Bland Cemetery in Bland.
