Jill (Rosemary) Catherine Colley, Owensville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at her residence.
She was born to Louis R. Sr. and Rose (Colletti) Luepke in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to John C. Colley, May 16, 1987, in St. Louis.
Jill enjoyed music, reading, family, friends, and incredible neighbors in Peaceful Valley. She most enjoyed dancing and live music and was known throughout several counties and at many local wineries as “The Dancing Lady.”
She was preceded in death by parents Lou and Rose Mary; husband John; and sisters Mary Lou Birrell and Susanne Luepke.
She is survived by children Amy Prince and husband Steven of Gerald, Beth Perniciaro and husband Ed of St. Louis, Theresa Woodley and Phil of St. Louis; bonus daughters Shirley Wadell and husband David of St. Louis and Mary Wolfsberger of St. Peters; brother Louis R. Luepke Jr. and wife Margaret of Canon City, Colo.; grandchildren Jenn (Josh), Alex, Olivia, Rachel, Ashton, Reagan, Brian, Jessica, Luke, Jared (Robin), Tyler (Emma), Dylan, and Matthew (Angie); and special friend, sweetheart, Clyde Zelch.
Jill was a Patron of the Arts for East Central College. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate in her name to the ECC Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 28, from 1–4 p.m., at Owensville Lions Hall, Owensville. Please RSVP to Amy at 314-570-0573 by May 22, as there will be food included.
