Jody May Schmidt, 65, Owensville, passed away Tues., Sept. 8, 2020, at her residence.
She was born May 2, 1955, to Nelson and Dolores (Brandt) Schmidt, in Washington.
Jody was a member of Beemont Methodist Church. She was the beloved aunt to many children and loved spending time with them. She was a lover of dogs.
She was preceded in death by father, Nelson; mother, Dolores Holtgrewe; brothers, Eugene Schmidt and Bill Schmidt; and step-father, Oscar Holtgrewe.
She is survived by sisters, June Huff and husband Jim of Bland and Tammy Lauer and husband Dan of Big Springs; brother, Glenn Holtgrewe and wife Janice of Hermann; and many relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held Friday, Sept. 11, at Beemont Methodist Cemetery at Beemont with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
