Joseph Keith Haberstroh, 84, Gerald, passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.

He was born Oct. 7, 1936, to Joseph M. and Fern (Snelling) Haberstroh in St. Louis.

He was united in marriage to Kathleen Morris February 21, 1981, in Union.

Joseph served his country in the U. S. Army. He was a plumber for 36 years and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #562. He enjoyed writing cowboy poetry in partnership with Kathleen and her artwork, Joseph also enjoyed horseback riding, traveling out west, hunting, and was a true outdoorsman.

He was preceded in death by sister Patricia and husband Richard Decker.

He is survived by wife Kathleen of 40 years; daughters Christine Foote and husband Brad of Washoe Valley, Nev., Patricia Thompson and husband Stephen of Owensville and Peggy Hussey and husband Don of St. James; son Steve Pilgram and wife Kathy of Labadie; grandchildren Sean Dunn, Montana and Ravyn Routsis, Heather Schlottach and husband Martin, Kelly Wright and husband Dan, Kurtis Lansford and wife Stacey, Samantha Boyer and husband Darrell, Tyler Hussey and wife Olivia, Kayla Pilgram and fiancé Grady Cooper and Cody Pilgram; and great-grandchildren Blake and Brett Scheel, Lillian Sample, Pierce and Drake Schlottach, Karson and Karlee Wright, Kaden, Rylie, and Logan Lansford, Mia and Cameron Boyer and Evelyn, Benjamin and Brooklyn Hussey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
