Joyce Aliene Danz, 85, of Rosebud, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.
She was born March 7, 1938, to Albert and Ethel (Naugle) Binkholder in Rosebud.
She was united in marriage to Forrest Danz, Oct. 3, 1959, at the First Baptist Church in Owensville.
Joyce enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting, sewing, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, her favorite time being on Black Friday. When she was younger, Joyce and her husband, Forrest, enjoyed dancing and playing cards.
She was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Ethel; brother, Robert “Bob” Binkholder; sisters, Leola Havener, Maxine Roehl, Alise Renick, Gladys Garver and Fern Vandegriffe; and grandson, Ryan Wester.
She is survived by husband of 63 years, Forrest of the home; daughters, Pam Wester and husband Jamie of Fordland, and Sandy Breitenbach and husband Jerry of Union; son, Kenny Danz and wife April of Rosebud; grandchildren, Reese Wester, Ross Wester, Kristin Brown and husband Matt, Kendra Lonon, Andrea Breitenbach, Trevor Breitenbach and wife Kaitlyn, Jacob Danz and wife Lindsey and Kayla Lindeman and husband Devin; and great-grandchildren, Payton Brown, Karmen Brown, Eleanor Breitenbach, Waylon Danz, Kade Danz and Lucy Bow Lindeman.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday (today), April 19, at 11 a.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home Chapel in Owensville with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating. Burial will be at Red Oak Cemetery in Rosebud.
Memorials may be given to Red Oak Cemetery Association.
