Kathy Faye Farris (Humphrey), 76, Owensville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022.
She was born Aug. 11, 1945 to Billy Humphrey and wife Ruby Alice (Ringeisen) in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Thurman Farris, Dec. 19, 1964, in Owensville.
Kathy worked at Brown Shoe Company and Mid Missouri Graphics both in Owensville.
She enjoyed reading and exercising her green thumb growing many house plants over the years. She was an animal lover, especially when it came to dogs and cats. Most of all she loved to be surrounded by her family while putting on functions at her home.
Kathy was preceded in death by parents Billy and Ruby Humphrey; brother Bill Humphrey; sister Irene Cox; nephew Paul Humphrey; and niece Rhonda Newman.
She is survived by children Renee Terrill and fiancé Josh Tuttle and Chris Farris all of Owensville; brother Mike Humphrey and wife Wanda of Owensville; grandchildren Justin Lowe and wife Brittany, Kylee Terrill and Katrina Farris all of Owensville; great-grandchildren Jaxon, Jayden and Brayden; and nieces and nephews, plus other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
