Kourtney Michelle Chapman, 29, Owensville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020.
She was born May 20, 1991, to Jennifer Padgett and Raheem Thorpe, in St. Louis.
Kourtney lived life on her own terms as a beautiful force of nature. She was a fiercely loyal mother, daughter, granddaughter and niece. She spent her life searching for happiness and meaning and found that in her beautiful and dear son Michael only to leave us all too soon. She is now held in the arms of her grandfathers and grandmothers in heaven. What a great moment it will be when we are all together again!
She was preceded in death by grandfathers Robley Chapman, John Duffin; and grandmothers Ouida Chapman and Viola Burnham.
She is survived by son, Michael Molina; parents Jennifer and Kevin Padgett; father, Raheem Thorpe and wife Jennifer; grandmothers, Charlotte Duffin and Charmaine Thorpe; uncle, David Chapman; sisters, Tiffany, Hayleigh and Kenzie Mertell; brothers, Tommy Mertell, Nate Camden, Jordan Gould and Ethan Padgett and wife Ashley; along with nieces and nephews, Scarlet, Eleanor, Willow, Anderson and Morgan.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
