Laura Ann Ward, 76, Owensville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, at Stonebridge of Hermann.
She was born Nov. 3, 1945, to Mytro and Mary (Presson) Kordonowy in St. Louis.
She was united in marriage to Theodore Earl Ward, Oct. 9, 1965, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Louis.
Laura enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Owensville.
She was preceded in death by parents Mytro and Mary Kordonowy; husband Theodore Ward; and brother Mitchell Kordonowy.
She is survived by children Michael Ward and wife Laura of Jefferson City, Catherine Boehm and husband Tom of Owensville, and Matthew Ward and wife Hillary of Gerald; brother Paul Kordonowy and wife Kim of Columbia, Conn.; sister Marilyn Poston and husband Mike of Chesterfield; and grandchildren Patrick, Benjamin, Ella, Joyce and husband Jacob, Sam, Aidan, Lucas, Jordan and Emma.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 29, at 10:30–11:00 a.m., at Amazing Grace Community Church, located at 4315 Hwy 19, Cuba.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Gary Mace officiating. Her body was cremated.
