LaVerne M. Brinkman, 90, of Owensville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
She was born Nov. 8, 1932, to Francis George Dewey and Clara (Walter) Brinkman in Bay.
She had been employed by Brown Shoe Co., Custom Printing Co., Warden Publishing and Old World Creations and then retired to enjoy life. LaVerne enjoyed playing the piano and organ for church and for her family. She always had a smile on her face and never knew a stranger.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clara and Dewey Brinkman; brother, Bob Brinkman; and sister, Marilyn Miller.
She is survived by niece, Judy Morris and husband Pat; nephew, Glenn Miller; cousin, Kermit Nuetzmann and family; and many friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 3, from 1–2 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, with memorial services following with Pastor Jackie Asher officiating. Her body was cremated and will be buried at Bay Bethel Cemetery in Bay.
