Letha Lorraine (Lange) Koch, age 86, of rural Bland died April 29, 2020, surrounded by family.

She was  born April 10, 1934, to Virgil and Eulah (Groff) Lange.

Letha was united in marriage to Herbert William Koch Nov. 28, 1954, and to this union eight children were born.

She was a long-time member of Pilot Knob Baptist Church.

Letha worked at various jobs throughout her life including Deb’s Shoe Factory in Owensville, domestic engineer, Head Start in her home, Kingsford Charcoal, writing the Feuersville Forum column for the Belle Banner, and Home Health Aide.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Dan Koch and brother, Lee Vern Lange.

Survivors include her children, Galen Koch of Bland, Gaylene (Steve) Wells of Rolla, Dana (Chesley) Heck of Piedmont, Ala., Danielle (Leon) Tuepker of Higbee, Glenn (Dana) Koch and Alan Koch of Bland, Alesia Tibbetts of Belle; daughter-in-law, Caryl Koch of Bland; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one foster great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, private family services will be held. Interment will be in the Feuersville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Feuersville Cemetery Fund, Central Missouri Hospice, or Maries County R-II Scholarship Foundation.

Arrangements entrusted to Sassmann’s Chapel, Bland.
