Letha Evaline Moore, 91, Owensville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, at Frene Valley Stonebridge of Owensville.

She was born Oct, 2, 1929, to Otho Gay and Goldie (Monroe) Wadlow, in St. Louis.

She was united in marriage to Billy Wayne Moore, Aug. 9, 1946, in St. Louis.

Letha was a member of Boeuff Presbyterian Church in Gerald where she served as treasurer. She was also a member of Gerald Senior Center and the Red Hat Society. She sewed caps at Paramount Cap Factory in Gerald and later worked at First Missouri Bank where she eventually became the head teller. She enjoyed going across the country with her husband as chauffeurs for Mid-America Coaches, playing cards, watching Turner Classic Movie channel, canning vegetables from her garden and pinochle parties. She loved her family very much and cherished the time she got to spend with them.

She was preceded in death by parents, Otho and Goldie; husband, Billy; siblings, Arthur and Bernell Waldow, Olga Elmore and Tena Sharp; and brother-in-law, Jack Helm.

She is survived by children, Connie Sliepen and husband James of Valrico, Fla., and Richard Moore and wife Linda of Hermann; sister, Linda Helm of Farmington; grandchildren, Rebecca Orzech and husband Mickey of Owensville, Jon Moore and significant other Kylie Speck of Bland, Cody Moore of Union, Mollie Moore of Rolla, Brian Brewer of Florida and Casey Rives and husband Adam of California; and great-grandchildren, Orion Barnett of Germany, Gage Barnett of Branson, Jayden Barnett of Owensville, Cheyenne Orzech of St. Clair, Nevaeh Moore of Hermann. Lydia Orzech of Owensville and Brendan Rives of California.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 19, from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Gerald. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at Boeuff Presbyterian Church in Gerald with Rev. Ron Kopplemann officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery. The funeral home requests attendees observe covid restrictions. Masks are suggested but not mandatory. Memorial contributions suggested to Boeuff Presbyterian Church in Gerald.
