Linda Kay Fritsch, 81, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to the loving arms of her Savior, Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, after a very short bout of cancer.
Born in Bland on Aug. 23, 1939, Linda was the daughter of Berdell and Clyde Duncan. She attended Owensville High School and worked for Custom Printing in Owensville for many years until she retired on the farm. She married William Evert Fritsch, Sept. 4, 1970, who preceded her in death. In 2009, Linda and her husband moved to Bolivar to enjoy the rest of their retirement.
Linda was a member of Heritage Baptist Church where she enjoyed worship and established many friendships.
Survivors include daughter, Pamela Bohl and husband Keith of Jefferson City; stepson, William Fritsch Jr. and wife Kristi of Owensville; stepdaughter Julia Tobben and husband Joe of Washington; her grandchildren, Ryan Bohl and wife Sarah and Nathan Bohl, all of Jefferson City, Kayla Haslag and husband Skylor of Taos, Ashley De Boeuf of Miami, Fla., Benjamin of Washington, Tyler Fritsch and wife Chelsey of Edgar Springs and Megean Fritsch and fiancé Bo of Owensville; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharron Eichler and husband William of Columbia, Kathlene Diestelkamp and husband William and Diane Lairmore and husband James of Owensville, and brother James Duncan and wife Paula of Zebulon, Ga.; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was also preceded in death by her parents, Berdell and Clyde; and son, Mark Lough of Owensville, who died two months before her.
Expressions of sympathy may be given for Gideon Bibles. A private graveside service will be held in Owensville at a later date.
