Linda Faye Williams, 65, Leslie, passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.

She was born Nov. 8, 1956, to Bernard and Jetherine (Aycox) Kent, Sr. in Little Rock, Ark. She was raised by Lena Mae Kent.

Linda enjoyed music, singing, and going to church. She was an active member of both Calvary New Life Tabernacle in Gerald and Cornerstone Apostolic in Owensville. She volunteered at the Owensville and Gerald Senior Centers. Linda enjoyed cooking, watching classic westerns, and taking care of her cats.

She was preceded in death by birth mother Jetherine Kent; mother who raised her Lena Mae Kent; brothers Bernard Kent, Jr. and Marvin Kent; sisters Marlene Kent Owens and Karen Kent; and brother-in-law Robert Gary, Sr.

She is survived by father Bernard Kent, Sr. of St. Louis; daughter Andrea Kent Schmid and husband John of Leslie; brothers Edward Lee Bonds of St. Louis, Willie Earl Bonds of St. Louis, Gary Kent and wife Vaneese of Killeen, Texas, and Alphonso Kent and wife Lynnette of San Antonio, Texas; sisters Evelyn Kent of Houston, Texas, Victoria Wadley and husband Charles, Jacqueline Gary, Jeanette Smith and husband Fred, and Bernice Crenshaw and husband James all of St. Louis; and grandson Courtney Schawn Williams and wife Ashley.

Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 29, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Calvary New Life Tabernacle, Gerald, with funeral services following with Pastor Sheila Bowens and Bishop Dan Maxwell officiating. Burial will be at Countryside Memorial Gardens, Owensville, with Bishop G.L. Kent officiating.

In lieu of flowers and cards, memorials suggested to Calvary New Life Tabernacle or Cornerstone Apostolic.
