Lois J. Dillard Kinman, 83, of Belle, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.

She was born Sept. 5, 1939, a daughter to the late Glen L. and Lucy J. (Curtis) Wilson in Duke.

She was a graduate of Duke High School and received her degree in Engineering from Lindenwood University in St. Charles.

Lois was married twice, first to William A. Dillard, who preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1983, and lastly to Roy T. Kinman, who preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2019.

She was a member of the Owensville Church of Christ and was very active teaching Bible class to the children as well as other activities. She enjoyed hunting and fishing when she was younger, reading, and baking and cooking. Lois loved animals and enjoyed feeding the birds around her house. She was a incredible person who loved making other people happy and touched many people’s lives through the years. She will be missed tremendously by those that knew and loved her.

Lois was preceded in death by parents, Glen and Lucy; husbands William and Roy; brothers, Archie Wilson (Nov. 1991), Ishmael Wilson (July 2007), Dean Wilson (March 2010), and Buddy Wilson (Dec. 2019).

She is survived by sons, Richard Dillard and wife Kayla and David Dillard and wife Thipmas; step-children, Kevin Kinman and wife Diane and Ronda Calkins and husband Ben Bock; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and twin brother, Dors Wilson and wife Della; as well as many extended family members and friends.

Visitation for Lois will be Wednesday (today), Jan. 4, at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle, from 5–7 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Larry Harris officiating. Interment will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens on Thursday, Jan. 5.
