Lorene DePauw passed peacefully the morning of June 14, 2022 in St. Louis.
She was born on April 13,1937 to the late Otto and Lillie Bartel (Mitchell).
She worked for McDonnell Douglas and EDS (Boeing) while living in North St. Louis, Lake St. Louis and Hazelwood.
She is preceded in death by parents Otto and Lille; sister Helen LaValle; brother Raymond Bartel and sister-in-law Jean.
She is survived by brothers Harold Bartel of Marietta, Ga. and Jerry Bartel of Jefferson City; brother-in-law Dean LaValle of Union; daughters Allison Pyatt and husband Steve and Kelly Sommer all of St. Louis; and grandchildren Andrew Sommer and wife Crystal of Elbridge, N.Y., and Eric Sommer and wife Danica of Wichita, Kan.
Lorene’s wishes were to be cremated and no services.
