Margaret Marie Stone, 82, Owensville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at Gasconade Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 17, 1938, in Charleston, a daughter of Amos and Mabel Marie (Hodges) Douglas.
She was united in marriage to Lewis Clark Stone Sr., Aug. 3, 1962, in Kingsland, Ga.
Margaret loved being a homemaker, taking care of her family and singing in church choirs.
She was preceded in death by parents Amos and Mabel; brothers, Bill and Jeff Douglas; and daughters, Pamelee Widows, Joy Widows and Jean Stone.
Her survivors include daughters, Connie Upchurch of Marble Hill, Marcella Gasner of Jefferson City and Teresa Probst and husband Wayne of Owensville; son, Lewis Stone Jr. and wife Kara of Springfield; brothers, Harlan Douglas and wife Ann of Scott City, Howard Douglas and wife Betty of Scott City and Richard Douglas and wife Debbie of Missouri; sister, Margie Mayabb and husband Clarence of East Prairie; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
