Following voting last Wednesday by baseball coaches from the Gasconade Valley Conference (GVC) a total of seven Maries County baseball players from Belle and Vienna earned All-GVC recognition. Between the All-GVC First Team and Honorable Mention selections, a total of 17 players from Belle, Vienna, Cuba, Bourbon and Steelville earned recognition from the GVC. Vienna Eagles earning All-GVC honors include Lucas Magner (First Team), Landon Kloeppel (Honorable Mention), Owen Kloeppel (First Team) and Nathan Kleffner (First Team). A trio of Belle Tigers were also named to the All-GVC First Team. They included Clayton Shockley, Carter Kinkead and Kaiden Robertson. Also named to the All-GVC First Team were Cuba’s Austin Stokes (Most Valuable Player), Steelville’s Carson Mullen, Steelville’s Landon Mabe, Cuba’s Connor Gipson, Cuba’s Joel Sanders, Bourbon’s Bryan Payne, Steelville’s Garrett Mullen and Cuba’s Garrett Sellers. Bourbon’s Jake Simmerly joined Landon Kloeppel as the other All-GVC Honorable Mention selection.
