Marvin Eugene Howard, 80, Hermann, passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2020, at New Haven Care Center.

He was born May 1, 1940, a son of Thomas and Mauda (Maynard) Howard in Dora.

He was united in marriage to Kathleen Kimbrel, May 28, 2005, in West Plains.

His dad nicknamed Marvin “Tedo,” from an old time puppet show on the radio. He worked as a foreman in tool and die. Marvin was a big computer buff and enjoyed watching movies and downloading music. He enjoyed riding motorcycles. He proudly served his country in the Navy.

He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Mauda; brother, Thomas Howard Jr.; and step-son-in-law, Jeffrey Moeckli.

His survivors include sons, John Howard and wife Julie of Orient, Ohio, and Timothy Howard of Minong, Wis.; step-daughters, Jacqueline Giles of St. Louis, Melissa Moeckli of New Haven and Carol Furlow and husband Todd of O’Fallon; brother, Clinton Howard of West Plains; sister, Margorie Olfe of St. Louis County; and three grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
