Mary Ann Ellis (Pueschel), 89, of Owensville, joined her husband in the heavenly kingdom of God on March 10, 2023, and into the loving embrace of our Lord and Savior.
She worked as a typist for the Better Business Bureau from 1952–54.
In 1953, she married her soul mate, Charles “Chuck” Ellis and in 1954 they moved to Riverside, Calif. They lived there for 17 years before moving back to Missouri in 1971. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mary Ann enjoyed yard work, tending to her flowers and birds, knitting, reading, puzzles, devotional readings, debates, and prayers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dora (Enzmann) and Fritz Pueschel; husband, Charles; and brothers-in-law, Bruce, Don and Larry Ellis; and sister-in-law Fran Pueschel.
Mary Ann is survived by sons, Steve (Sherry), Ken (Letha) and Ted (Pam) all of Owensville; grandchildren, Ben (Tracy), Julie Buckner (Eric), Mitchell (Jeffrey), Cody (Claire) and Anya Rusetskay (Anton); great-grandchildren, Levi, Caleb, Mia, Heidi, Ruby, David, Adam and Evelyn; and siblings, Curt (Kelly) Pueschel and Fred Pueschel.
Her body was cremated and her ashes, along with her husbands, will be scattered at a private family gathering.
