Mildred Mae Bock, 90, Owensville, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born Jan. 24, 1931, to Tony and Mary (Schimmel) Fuchs in Owensville.
She was united in marriage to George H. Bock June 25, 1949, in Bland.
Mildred was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ in Owensville, the Dorcas Club and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed quilting, playing bingo and putting puzzles together.
She was preceded in death by parents, Tony and Mary; husband, George; brothers, James, George, Chester and Milford Fuchs; and sisters, Nellie Buschman, Virginia Siegler, Elsie Havelka and Marie Landwehr.
She is survived by children, Ivan Bock and wife Vicki of Owensville and Patricia Stratman and husband Randy of Rolla; brother, Earl Fuchs of Owensville; sister, Mamie Landwehr of Owensville; grandchildren, Trent Bock and wife Tina of Owensville, Jennifer Welschmeyer and husband Mike of Westphalia, Amber Stratman and husband Phil Vance of Clayton and Tyler Stratman and wife Ashley of Columbia; and great-grandchildren, Haleigh Nelson, Sam Sellers, Audrey Sellers and Cooper Vance.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 2, at Gottenstroeter Chapel in Owensville with Rev. Stephanie DeLong officiating. Burial followed in Countryside Memorial Gardens in Owensville.
