The Missouri Department of Transportation is hosting two hiring events in mid-September for positions in roadway maintenance and construction.

Eligible applicants will be interviewed during the event and may receive an on-the-spot conditional job offer. After a conditional offer is accepted, applicants must pass a drug test and background check.

Successful applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. In addition, applicants should bring the following documents to assist in the process:

• Resume with professional references.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or permit (if they have it).

Jefferson City

Friday, Sept. 12, 12 – 6 p.m., 1511 Missouri Boulevard, Jefferson City, MO.

Applicants may park in either visitor lot to the east or west of the building and come in through the front door, which faces Missouri Boulevard.

Cuba

Tuesday, Sept. 16, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., MoDOT’s Cuba Maintenance Facility located near I-44 at Route UU (Exit 210). 7149 Old Highway 66, Cuba, MO.
