Some have criticized Joe Biden for being senile, and he surely has been prone to gaffes in the past. But I see no evidence of such the last year. People should be careful about making such statements. Your time for suffering from such may well come before you want it. I have observed that life is a progressive disease, and advancing age becomes a pre-existing condition.
The same people making these comments seem to ignore Donald Trump’s obvious senility in his answering Mueller’s questions. Over thirty times his answer was “I cannot recall”, which is rather strange for someone who describes himself as being “scary smart.” Perhaps he is too scared to be smart.
I have read many times about the $35 million that Robert Mueller spent. In fact, that investigation did not cost us taxpayers a dime. As part of his investigation, us taxpayers now own a condo in Trump Towers. But with the collapse of the Trump name, the property has decreased in value about 50 percent.
The same people have yet to complain about the estimated cost of $144 million of his golf trips, from a POTUS who would be “To busy for golf.” And in fact, he made money on such trips on your and my dime, or I should say millions? I anticipate that it will be decades before we the taxpayer get an accurate figure as to how much Donald Trump has ripped off all of us. And now the news comes out of a taxpayer cost of at least $511 million has been spent to discredit Trump’s lie about a stolen election, and the cost of putting the insurrection down, as directed by Donald Trump.
Anybody who states that the “Mueller investigation did not prove anything” obviously has not read the report. Seven people gave went to prison as a result of the investigation, so there must be something there. Donald Trump is the unluckiest person alive. Everywhere you look, he is surrounded by liars, often at his direction. And of course, Ex-President Trump remains Individual One, and unindicted co-conspirator. Recent revelations strongly suggest that in fact Robert Mueller was hampered in his investigation by Rod Rosenstein, appointed by Trump.
I will address the issues of the Trump impeachment trial, and the hoax of Democrats stealing elections in the future. I will briefly note that since the 2020 election, state legislatures are considering over 100 laws to enhance voter suppression. I do recall Donald Trump’s Electoral Integrity Commission, which collapsed after a year, not being able to find anything of significance. Chris Kobach who led that group has since been ordered to undergo remedial training in election law.
