Naomi Ruth Limberg, 84, Gerald, passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
She was born June 14, 1936, to Lee and Nettie (Holt) Hollandsworth. She was baptized and confirmed at Boeuff Presbyterian Church. Shewas united in marriage to Edwin Lee Limberg, Aug. 22, 1953, at St. James Charlotte Church. Edwin preceded her in death, Oct. 30, 2016.
For many years Naomi worked at Paramount Cap, Gerald Department Store and her favorite, Boeuff Presbyterian Church. She made sure the church and everything within it met her high standards for order and cleanliness. Naomi loved to stay busy whether it be working outdoors, straightening up Dad’s garage or going on long walks with her sister, Ramona. She was so independent and no job was too large for her. Naomi never knew a stranger, she saw the best in everyone and would greet all that crossed her path with a smile.
She was preceded in death by parents, Lee and Nettie; her husband, Edwin; brothers, Ray Hollandsworth, Donald Hollandsworth and Merl Hollandsworth; sister-in-law, Judy Hollandsworth; and brother-in-law, Everett Hempelmann.
Her survivors include her children, Russell (Kollette) Limberg, Dale Limberg, Judy (Mark) Willoughby and Janell (Kurt) Althage; her grandchildren, Chris (René) Limberg, Michael Limberg, Cara Willoughby-Jenkins and husband Bob, Britni (Brian) Echols, Ross Althage and special friend Lydia, Karla Pyle and Kaleb Pyle; great-grandchildren, Hailey Limberg, Brennan Limberg, Dawson, Dax and Denver Echols and Charlotte Jenkins; her siblings, brother Roy Hollandsworth and sister Ramona Hempelmann; sisters-in-law, Gladys Limberg and Esther Grob; brothers-in-law Don (Mary) Limberg and Melvin Schulte; plus many nieces and nephews.
Please join us in the celebration of her life. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 31, at Boeuff Presbyterian Church in Gerald with funeral services following at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ron Koppelmann Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Boeuff Presbyterian Cemetery. Please observe COVID restrictions. Masks are requested/preferred but not mandatory. Memorials are requested to family’s choice.
