Owensville Volunteer Fire Department, in conjunction with other agencies, is hosting a Kids Safety Day on Saturday, June 19, on the lower field at Owensville’s Memorial Park.
Activities are planned from 8 a.m. to noon with special guest from emergency services agencies across the region displaying their equipment and services.
Scheduled participating agencies include ARCH Helicopter; Belle Fire Department’s aerial truck, Crawford County Electric Cooperative, Dry Creek Blood Hounds, Gasconade County Emergency Services E-911 dispatch, Gasconade County Sheriff’s Department, Gerald-Rosebud Fire Department, Linn Fire Department’s smoke simulator for kids, Missouri Department of Conservation, Missouri State Highway Patrol rollover simulator, Missouri State Highway Patrol bomb squad, Missouri State Highway Water Patrol, Missouri State Patrol officers, Owensville Ambulance, Owensville Police Department, and Owensville Volunteer Fire Department.
