Patricia “Patty” (Kelley) Fox, 70, Leslie, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
She was born March 25, 1950, to Carmen and Edna (Jenkins) Kelley, in Washington.
She was united in marriage to William Fox in an intimate ceremony in her sister’s backyard in Villa Ridge, and the couple made their home in Union.
Patty received her education at Union High School in Union. She worked in childcare, delighting in the children she took care of. Patty was a member of Cornerstone Chapel Church. She loved playing bingo, lottery tickets, adult coloring books, and sewing beautiful quilts. Patty’s greatest joy in life was her family. Her grandchildren were her life, and she will be greatly missed.
Patty was preceded in death by parents, Carmen and Edna; husband, William; and one nephew, Jimmy Kelley.
She is survived by two sons, Greg Carroll and wife Jamie of Leslie and Billy Schmidt of Godfrey, Ill.; one daughter, Joyce Miller and husband Mike of St. Clair; eight grandchildren, Justin (Amanda) Carroll, Derek Pritchett, Timothy Jupina, Garrett Carroll, Sheena Carroll, Kyla Reid, Mike Miller and Mitchell Miller; five great-grandchildren, Dawson, Daytona, Anissa, Owen and Asher; two sisters, Carol Kamper and husband David and Betty Taylor, all of Union; two brothers, James Kelley and wife Annette of Vienna and Robert Kelley and wife Teresa of Beaufort; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Monday, March 8, at Oltmann Funeral Home in Union. Burial followed in Red Brick Cemetery in Gerald. Memorial contributions suggested to the family (c/o Greg Carroll).
