Patricia Ellen Jaegers known to her friends as Patsy Boehm, 80, Linn, passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at Stonebridge Adams Street in Jefferson City. 

She was born Feb. 1, 1944, to the late Theodore Boehm and Marie (Kuster) Boehm Brandt in Jefferson City. 

She was a 1961 graduate of Linn High School. Patsy received her Registered Nurse credentials from DePaul Hospital School of Nursing in 1964 and earned her BSN at University of Missouri in 1969. 

She was united in marriage to James “Jim” W. Jaegers Oct. 16, 1971, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn.

Patsy was employed as a registered nurse and spent many years caring for others in hospitals, including St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City, the VA and University Hospitals in Columbia, and later finished her nursing career at Green Meadows/Autumn Meadows Skilled Care in Linn before her retirement. 

She was a member of St. George Catholic Church.

Patsy enjoyed attending her children’s sporting events and time spent with her family and her husband’s family. 

She was preceded in death by parents, Theodore and Marie; stepfather, Arthur Brandt; infant brother, William Joseph “Peter” Boehm; and brother-in-law, Elmer Dill. 

Patsy is survived by spouse of 53 years, Jim; sons, James Jaegers II of Fairfax, Va., Patrick Jaegers and wife Lisa of Defiance and Christopher Jaegers and wife Erica of Loose Creek; grandchildren, Brandon Jaegers and wife Lexie, Dylan, Nolan, Luke, Vivian and William Jaegers; great-grandson, Paxton Jaegers; brothers, Ted Boehm and wife Paula of Mesa, Ariz. and John Boehm of Jefferson City; sister, Ann Dill of St. Charles; and many nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25, at Morton Chapel in Linn. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn with Fr. Colin Franklin officiating.  Interment will be in the St. George Parish Cemetery.

Memorial contributions suggested to St. George Catholic Church.
