Potential COVID-19 exposure at Hermannhof

Gasconade County Health Department Administrator Greg Lara announced today, Wednesday, Nov. 18, that individuals who attended the wine tasting room at Hermannhof have potentially been exposed to COVID-19.

The potential exposure occurred between the hours of 1-5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13.

The health department requests that anyone who may have been at the facility during this period monitor themselves for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Symptoms to watch for include:

• Fever of more than 100.4

• Chills

• Muscle aches

• Runny nose

• Sore throat

• Loss of taste or smell

• Headache

• Fatigue

• Cough

• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

• Nausea or vomiting

• Abdominal pain

• Diarrhea

Persons who experience any of the aforementioned symptoms should contact their medical provider.

Those with questions may contact the Gasconade County Health Department or their medical provider.

The health department also urges county residents to take precautions while out in public during this period of increased COVID-19 cases. Safety measures to follow include maintaining social distancing requirements, wearing face masks, washing hands frequently and staying home if you notice any of the above symptoms.
