Proposition Fatima Schools narrowly defeated, Meta Question passes, Griffin beats Glavin for Commissioner

Local voting in Osage County saw a large turnout with 37.74 percent of registered voters (3,331 of 8,827) casting a ballot with some closely contested issues.

Proposition Fatima Schools asked to increase the operating tax levy by 65 cents narrowly gets voted down at 939-933.

The City of Meta Question in regards to waterworks revenue bonds narrowly passes with 29-24.

In the nomination race for Presiding Commissioner of the County Commission for Osage County Darryl L. Griffin beat challenger John Glavin 1,850-923.

The Republican candidate for State Representative for the 61st District will be Bruce Sassman, who ran unopposed.

Circuit Judge Circuit 20 - Division 2 for Osage County, Republican Steve White earns the nomination with 1,731 votes to his opponent Ryan J. Helfrich’s 753.

On the Democrat side for Division 2, Bill Stahlhuth ran unopposed and will get the nomination.

The nomination for Associate Circuit Judge for Osage County will be Republican Sonya D. Brandt who ran unopposed.

Nomination for Clerk of the Circuit Court for Osage County was won by Beth A. Billington, who ran unopposed.

Nomination for Clerk of the County Commission for Osage County was won by Nicci Kammerich (Bouse), who ran unopposed.

Nomination for Recorder of Deeds for Osage County was won by Cindy Hoffman, who ran unopposed.

Nomination for Prosecuting Attorney for Osage County goes to Amanda L. Grellner, who ran unopposed.

Nomination for the Collector of Revenue for Osage County was Denise M. Nolte, who ran unopposed.

Nomination for the Treasurer for Osage County will be Republican Valerie Prater, Who ran unopposed.

The nomination for Assessor for Osage County goes to Tina (Rothove) Kammerich who beat Gary. A. Storey 1,970-823.

In state results, Republican incumbent Eric Schmitt trounced his opponents, receiving 298,852 votes to secure his nomination to the U.S. Senate Tuesday. Schmitt's closest challenger was Vicky Hartzler, who received 144,469 votes, while former Governor Eric Greitens only received 123,982 votes in the unofficial Primary Election returns. The total reported Republican Party votes in Missouri was 654,474.

On the Democrat side, Trudy Busch Valentine won her party’s nomination with 158,583 votes. Valentine’s closest challenger was Lucas Kunce who raked in 140,953. The total reported Democrat Party votes in Missouri was 367,420.

Scmitt easily won Linn 1 with 110 votes and Linn 2 with 118. Valentine won Linn 1 with 14 votes and Linn 2 with 19 votes. A full breakdown by precinct will appear next week. 

For the State Auditor nomination, Republican Scott Fitzpatrick beat his closest opponent David Gregory by a margin of 378,275-206,452. In Osage County Fitzpatrick beat Gregory 1,847-792.

On the Democrat side for State Auditor, Alan Green ran unopposed and will get the nomination.

For the United States Representative in Congress for the 3rd district, Republican Blaine Luetkemeyer won the nomination with 66,400 votes against his closest opponent Brandon Wilkinson who received only 15,784 votes. In Osage County Luetkemeyer beat Wilkinson 2,242-306. 

On the Democrat side for the 3rd District, Bethany Mann won the nomination with 22,621 votes versus her closest opponent Jon Karlin who had 7,344.  In Osage County, Mann beat Karlin at the polls 160-71.

State Senator for the 26th District, Republican Ben Brown won the nomination with 10,802 votes against his closest opponent Nate Tate who received 7,387 votes. In Osage County Tate beat Brown 1,045-800. 

On the Democrat side for the 26th District, John Kiehne ran unopposed and will get the nomination.
