PSC plans public hearings in January on Ameren Missouri request to decrease electric revenues annually by $800,000

JEFFERSON CITY—The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold local public hearings in January in an electric rate case filed by Ameren Missouri.

On July 3, 2019, Ameren Missouri filed an electric rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to decrease annual electric revenues by approximately $800,000.  Ameren Missouri serves approximately 1.28 million electric customers in Missouri including all residents inside the city limits of Owensville.

Aside from locations in the St. Louis and immediate metropolitan area, one is scheduled Jan.  21 in Jefferson City at the Governor Office Building, Room 310, 200 Madison Street. A PSC Staff public information/question and answer session starts at 6 p.m. with the Commission receiving testimony from the public following the question and answer session.

These local public hearings will be held in facilities that meet the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Any person who needs additional accommodations to participate in these hearings should call the Public Service Commission’s hotline at 1-800-392-4211 (voice) or Relay Missouri at 711 before the hearings.

Formal evidentiary hearings in this case are scheduled March 2-6, 2020 and March 9-13, 2020.  These hearings will be held in Jefferson City at the Governor Office Building, Room 310, 200 Madison Street.
