Seeing other area schools move their senior nights up during the upcoming fall sports season, Owensville High School Athletic Department officials decided to do the same with the fluid COVID-19 pandemic situation changing ever so often.
Senior night for Dutchgirl softball and volleyball will both take place on Tuesday, Sept. 8 with the softball team hosting Union beginning at 4:30 p.m., and the volleyball squad hosting Belle starting at 5 p.m.
Dutchmen football players, cross country runners, cheerleaders and members of the band will have their senior night recognition on Friday, Sept. 11 when Owensville will face their Highway 19 neighbors to the south in Cuba’s Wildcats.
All of the football, band, cross country and cheerleading seniors will be honored prior to kickoff against Cuba.
