Randolph “Randy” Franklin McClary, 71, Owensville, passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
He was born Aug. 28, 1949, to James Elmer and Martha Lillian (Pennock) McClary, in Bourbon.
He was united in marriage to Antonia “Toni” Marie Sevcik, Feb. 14, 1976, in Denison, Texas.
Randy worked at Zephyr’s Truck Stop in Sullivan and provided a wrecker service before becoming an over-the-road truck driver for 35 years.
Randy accepted the Lord early in life. During his younger years, he later worked at Zephyr’s Truck Stop in Sullivan and also provided wrecker service for some time.
He was preceded in death by parents, James and Martha; sister, Dee McClary; brother, Jimmy McClary; and brothers-in-law, Hermann Gould, Richard Wirz and Dave Hodges.
He is survived by wife, Toni, of Owensville; son, Dale McClary of Owensville; special grandson, Danny Bacon and wife Jill of Rogersville; daughters, Wendy Wood of Gerald, Chonna McClary and Tonia Foster and husband Glenn, all of Sullivan, and Tina Firestine and husband Albert of Colorado; brothers, Brad McClary of Sullivan and Jessie “Jay” McClary and wife Renie of Leasburg; sisters, Debbie King and husband Ralph of Leasburg, Donna McClin and Della Hodges, both of Branson; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Gould of Arizona and Barbara Wir of Rolla; and 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, from 12-4 p.m. at the Owensville Masonic Lodge. The family has chosen cremation as his final disposition.
