Owensville High School senior Dutchmen football linebacker Timmy Winterbauer and classmate Camryn Caldwell react Friday as they are announced as king and queen of the “Show Up and Glow Up” homecoming celebration. The visiting Hermann Bearcats (above) spoiled homecoming and retained the Gasconade County Bowl trophy with a 41-6 Four Rivers Conference win at Dutchmen Field. Hermann, now 5-0, plays Sullivan on Friday at 7 p.m. at Bearcat Memorial Stadium for their homecoming. Their theme is “Bikers vs. Surfers.” Owensville is looking for its first victory of the season when the Dutchmen travel to Pacific, 1-4, for a 7 p.m. kickoff in FRC play. Caldwell, a setter, and her OHS volleyball Dutchgirl teammates were competing Tuesday evening in pool play at the Hermann Invitational Volleyball Tournament. Results were not available at deadline.
