FREEBURG — Cyle E. Reinkemeyer, 30, of Freeburg, faces a slew of charges after allegedly threatening to kill the mother of their child while violating an ex parte order.
According to Deputy Jeremy Carrigan’s probable cause statement, Reinkemeyer entered the victim’s Freeburg residence at about 6 p.m. on Aug. 28 despite being forbidden to do so by an active order of protection.
Reinkemeyer allegedly visited the victim’s place of employment twice the same day, demanding that she talk to him.
While at the residence, Reinkemeyer told the victim and her mother, who was on the phone, that if the cops were called, they wouldn’t have time to arrive before she was dead. He reportedly grabbed a kitchen knife and told the victim they would both be dead by morning and their minor child in common would have to live with his grandparents.
Reinkemeyer also allegedly threatened to run his truck through the victim’s place of employment and shoot up her family at her mother’s residence in Salem.
Reinkemeyer was charged with violation of an order of protection, unlawful use of a weapon, third-degree domestic assault, first-degree burglary, and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
He is being held without bond at the Osage County Detention Center.
