Robert Andrew Griffin, 66, Gerald, passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
He was born Sept. 16, 1954, to William A. and Laverne A. (Hurst) Griffin, in Kirkwood.
He was united in marriage to Susann Patterson, July 7, 1978, at St. Peter’s Church in Kirkwood.
Robert began his 43 year career as a meat porter for Schnucks and worked his way up as a meat cutter, meat manager, a meat supervisor, and finally, finished his career as a meat buyer. He enjoyed golf and his dog Louie. He lived for his family and would do anything for them.
He was preceded in death by parents, William and Laverne; and brother, Scott Phillips.
He is survived by wife, Susann; children, Sean Griffin and wife Talia of Gerald, Casey Griffin and husband Christopher of Kirkwood and Corey Griffin and wife Kim of Manchester; brothers, Daniel Griffin and wife Janet of Kirkwood, Daniel Griffin and Jim Griffin; and seven grandchildren.
His body was cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
