Robert Joseph “Bob” White, 65, Dixon, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 at the University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia.
He was born Jan. 18, 1955, to Robert Leland and Mary Rosalyn (Golden) White in Tuscumbia.
He was united in marriage to Wilma Dean Litel, May 5, 2002, in Mokane,
Robert served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged March 27, 1978. Following graduation, he was employed with the Missouri Department of Corrections as a security officer until his retirement in 2016.
He was preceded in death by father, Robert.
He is survived by wife, Wilma, of the home near Dixon; children, Brandi Mosley, of Fulton, Truly Cotten and husband, Joseph of Dixon, Robert “Robbie” White, Jr.,of Fulton, Jake Mosley and wife, Sara of Fulton, Christopher White of Park Hills; and Alexander White of Ironton; mother, Mary Rosalyn White of Eldon; brother, Leland White of Eldon; sisters, Karen Walker, and husband, Steve of Tipton, and Rhonda Stark, and husband, David of Eldon; nineteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, May 1, in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, with Rev. Dale Stone, officiating, military honors provide d at the funeral home, the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. Inurnment was in Dooley Cemetery, in Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
