Ronald W. Traub, 75, Hermann, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, at Mercy Hospital, Washington.
He was born Dec. 2, 1947, the son of the late William and Evelyn (Kottmeyer) Traub in Washington.
He was the husband of Debbie (Zimmer) Traub. They were united in marriage Aug. 2, 1975, at
Jefferson City.
Ron was a member of St. James Evangelical Church in Stony Hill. He worked for the Chrysler Corporation at the Fenton Assembly Plant for 34 years.
In his free time Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, gardening, making wine and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents William and Evelyn; sisters, Shirley Lottmann, Joyce Rasmussen and Norma Rohlfing.
Ron is survived by wife, Debbie Traub, of Hermann; sons, Robert Traub and wife Michelle, Christoph Traub and wife Lindsey all of Hermann, Nicholas Traub and wife Lane of Smithville, and David Traub and wife Mandy of Rolla; grandchildren, Katelyn, Cole, Brady, Jett, Levi, Bo, Judson, Will, Jesse, Nolan, Luke, Cooper and Georgia; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 19, at St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill, with Rev. Tom Lloyd officiating. Burial was at St. James Cemetery.
