Cody James Custom Flatwork was setting foundation forms Monday to pour a 2.5-foot tall foundation wall on top of a concrete footing previously poured for Ron Geisler’s new home under construction on Pine Street. A pad will be poured once the walls cure out. James is donating his lab. His concrete supplier, Wieberg, was donating a portion of the materials. Additional donations of excavating labor from Tim Jenkins and rock hauling by John Blankenship have been made since the project began recently. Donations of cash, labor and materials are nearly $25,000.
