MoDot will be busy in July making repairs to area roadways.
Beginning next Monday, July 12, drivers can expect delays when traveling on Route H.
Jack Wang, with MoDOT communications, says drivers can expect delays from U. S. Highway 50 south to the Strain area with lane closures for pavement seal coating.
“Flaggers will operate one-lane operations fro traffic,” Wang says. The closures will occur Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, July 16, weather permitting.
Pavement seal coating will also be done on Routes AN, AC and CC during roughly the same time frame.
Amy Jackson, with the Franklin County Highway Department, has also alerted area residents that Beemont School Road will be closed one mile north of Route ZZ for cross-pipe work. The road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 8 and Friday, July 9, to all traffic including emergency vehicles.
