Owensville police have forwarded 12 burglary charges to Franklin County juvenile authorities in connection with a string of thefts and property damage at a former concrete plant and a Fair Association concession stand.
City Marshal Robert Rickerd and patrolman Josh Smith investigated the thefts and property damage to the old Boettcher site, broken into “several times” in the past two weeks, and the concession stand which was broken into twice in the past three weeks.
One 17-year-old male is also involved. Ages of the alleged suspect range from 12 to 17. Parents were “very helpful and cooperative in getting this investigation closed,” Rickerd said.
