Owensville High School will celebrate their “Small Town Livin’, Big City Dreamin’” 2019 winter homecoming on Friday, Feb. 8, hosting St. James in a Four Rivers Conference (FRC) basketball tripleheader. Candidates and attendants making up the court (in front, from left) include Zach Adams, Jordan Lindemeyer, Jon Saunsaucie, Anna Heidbrink, Austin Gregory and Alyssa Luecke. Seniors vying for homecoming king and queen include (in back) Drew Baumbach, Sadie Moritz, Braden Smith, Liana Miller, Logan Jahnsen and Ella Wright. A tripleheader of basketball action will begin at 5 p.m., with the junior varsity boy’s contest followed by the King and Queen coronation at 6:30 p.m. Once both are crowned, the varsity girls will tip off at 7 p.m., followed by the varsity boys at approximately 8:30 p.m. Spirit week activities will lead up to a school-wide pep assembly during eighth hour on Friday. The OHS Dutch Divas will also perform at halftime of the varsity girl’s game. The OHS cheerleaders perform at halftime of the varsity boy’s game.
