Utility contractors complete upgrades along Springfield Road on Oct. 22 in preparation for the start of an LSC Communications building project. The section of Springfield Road shown was scheduled to be closed indefinitely starting today (Oct. 28) for the project. The city of Owensville is applying for grant funding to construct a bypass road to the west of the site. LSC is building a 60,000-square foot addition to accommodate upgraded presses. No parking signs have been installed on both side of East Springfield Road leading east to Highway 19 to accommodate through traffic from Springfield to 19. Residents along both sides of the East Springfield were notified by letters from the city.
