Saturday’s Taste of Osage County returned to Linn after a four-year break with 34 vendors and community members coming out to enjoy the day with friends and family.
Elizabeth Anderson from the MU Extension in Osage County, Mark Perkins of Naturally Meramec, and Jenn Millard of Central Missouri Community Action organized the event, which in previous years has been sponsored by the Osage County Agritourism Council.
Vendor response to the event was positive, with booths selling everything from local honey to chair-weaving services. Groups and organizations were also present to offer their services or to recruit new members.
The Osage County Health Department used the event to provide 27 people with the flu vaccine.
Dates are currently being reviewed for a 2022 event.
