A Rosebud teen was injured Monday afternoon when the 2018 Polaris Razor she was riding in overturned on Scheel Road northwest of Owensville.
According to a report filed by Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Kent Kreftmeyer, Christina A. Becker, 15, was a passenger in the Razor being operated by Brandon C. Hiatt, 17, of Owensville. Kreftmeyer’s report noted Hiatt was driving the Razor west on Scheel Road when he lost control and the vehicle overturned in the roadway. The crash was reported at 3 p.m. and occurred 300 feet of Schlottog Road.
Becker was transported by Owensville Area Ambulance District personnel for treatment of minor injuries to Mercy Hospital Washington. She was not wearing a safety device. Hiatt was wearing a safety device, according to the report. The Razor sustained moderate damage.
