Terrell “Terri” Jean Campbell, 69, Cuba, passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 2021 at her residence.
She was born Oct. 28, 1951, a daughter to the late James Markin and Syble (Santy) Markin in Evansville, Ind. Syble survives of her home.
She was united in marriage to Dannell Jay Campbell Feb. 5, 2001, in Boonville, Ark.
Terri attended school in St. Louis and worked as a RN in Florida for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church and an active member of the V.F.W. post #6133 Ladies Auxiliary in Owensville.
She enjoyed watching old movies and the Waltons, playing bingo at the V.F.W. in Owensville, and making flower arrangements for weddings. She was a giving person with a big heart. Terri loved the Lord and read her bible every day. Her greatest joy was time spent with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father James; infant twins; father-in-law Jay Campbell and stepdaughter Whitney Campbell.
She is survived by mother Syble; husband Dan of the home; sons Thomas Redick and wife Lucy of Port Richey, Fla., and Daniel Campbell and wife Kate of Chicago, Ill.; daughter Amelia Scheer of St. Claire; sister Kimberly Akers of St. Claire; grandchildren Elizabeth Maul and husband Chase, Thomas Redick, Jr., John Redick, Emmy Redick, and Leah Campbell as well as many step-grandchildren; numerous foster children; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday (today), Oct. 27, at Crossroads Baptist Church beginning at 1 p.m. with Danny Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow in the Bland Union Cemetery.
