Thomas Edward Hibler, 72, passed away on September 20, 2021, in Inverness, Fla.

He was born on March 22, 1949, to Melvin and Mary Ann (Melton) Hibler.

He was united in marriage to Norah Mattson on Dec. 8, 2012, in Belle.

Tom worked and retired from driving a concrete truck and was a member of the Central States Teamsters. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved classic cars, deer and turkey hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Tom never knew a stranger and had a smile, joke or an outrageous story for everyone. In his retirement years, he enjoyed spending time with Norah and friends listening to music and finding good places to eat around their central Florida home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Billy Hibler, sister Judith Bollmann, brother-in-law August Bollmann, and nieces Kimberly Hibler Miller and Jenny Bollmann.

He is survived by wife Norah and faithful dog Louie of the home; daughter Wendy Knehans and husband Mike of Saint Augustine, Fla.; son Eric Sodoma of Jackson Mich.; son Bryan Sodoma and wife Melissa of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; daughter Brittany Dennis of Owensville; and grandchildren: Avery, Quinn, Stella, Kai, Kel, Waverly, Kona and Kasper Knehans; Ian, Cadence, Tatum, Isabel and Elias Sodoma; and Coltyn, Hayden and Logan Dennis.
