To be thought a fool

Posted

Dear Editor:

There were two articles in this weeks paper. One (Phil Brooks) was intelligent and heartwarming.

The other (C.H. Zelch)was from your very familiar contributor. The first offered a deep example as to what is so flawed in today’s leadership from both parties in our government.

As my late husband — wonderful in so many ways, used to say but not always practice:

“‘Tis far better to keep mouth shut and be thought a fool rather than open mouth and remove all doubt.”
