Two arrested on outstanding warrants

Posted

Michael King, 64, of Nevada, and Heather E. McMaster, 32, of Linn, were arrested recently on outstanding warrants.

An Osage County deputy stopped King on May 2 for an equipment violation. After communicating with the Emergency Operation Center (EOC), the deputy learned that King had a warrant for his arrest out of Christian County for failure to appear in court.

King was arrested and transported to the Osage County Jail to await extradition.

On April 28, McMaster was stopped for failing to signal a lane change on Hwy. 50, just east of CR 608.

McMaster advised the deputy that her driving privilege was suspended, and she was working on getting it reinstated.

The EOC confirmed that McMaster’s driving privileges were, in fact, revoked, and she had an active warrant out of Cole County for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while suspended/revoked.

She was transported to the Osage County Jail without incident.
